In 2004 I was scheduled to return to work after our third son, Matthew was born. When I was unable to find quality childcare for our three children, I knew I had to make a change. I said goodbye to my wonderful career in the wine industry and decided to launch my own specialty food business.
I spent several months perfecting my favorite soup recipies, sourcing ingredients and packaging, and finding a certified kitchen facility to create my products.
In the Spring of 2005 I launched my first two all-natural gourmet soups at the Kelowna Farmer's and Crafter's Market and after a successful first season, I expanded my selection of soups and created a delicious line of gourmet deli-salads.
Five years later, I have my own certified kitchen and have expanded my product line to include 15 soups, 6 deli-salads and a full-service healthy concession!
The best part of my business is having the opportunity to meet and talk to all of my clients face to face at the Farmer's Market and through my direct delivery service throughout the Kelowna area.
